The 4th Asia Healthcare Summit, co-organized by the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 16 May to 17 May. The Chief Executive of the HKSAR, Mr. K.C. Lee, and the Deputy Director of the National Health Commission, Mr. Cao Xuetao, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches, while the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Mr. Tamsin Tandesay, delivered a video message. Zhou Houcheng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sichuan Neo-Green Pharmaceutical Technology Development Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as NGP), was invited to participate in the event, and New Green Pharmaceutical made a stunning appearance with its modernized products of Chinese medicine, such as Chinese medicine granules, Chinese medicine health series products and Chinese medicine granules intelligent mixing equipment.

With the theme of Innovation and Integration, the forum brought together nearly 3,000 health industry elites from 40 countries and regions around the world to discuss in-depth the challenges and opportunities of the global healthcare industry, the latest development of medical technology and the potential of the Asian healthcare market.
In the panel discussion on “Application of Chinese Medicine in Modern Healthcare”, Prof. Bian Siu-cheung, Hospital Chief Executive of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital (HKCMH) and President of the Chinese Medicine Innovation R&D Center Limited, Prof. Fung Yick-pan, Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Medicine of The University of Hong Kong, Prof. Lau Chun-ying, Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Western Medicine) of HKCMH, Prof. Xu Hong-xi, Chief Professor of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Honorary Dean of the School of Chinese Medicine, and other distinguished speakers were invited to attend. Prof. Xu Hongxi, Chief Professor of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Honorary Dean of the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other industry leaders gathered together. Mr. Xu Liming, General Manager of New Green Pharmaceutical, was also invited to attend the meeting to discuss with industry experts about the modernization and future development trend of TCM in Hong Kong, and to share New Green Pharmaceutical's experience in quality control through the whole industry chain system and modern analytical technology, so as to contribute to the promotion of the modernization and internationalization of TCM.
